The team at Extreme is kicking off a brand new endeavor.  We’ve been a part of the community in the Jackson area for nearly 20 years and are excited to share more about what’s happening in our store and around town through our new blog.  Here’s what you can expect:

Extreme Dodge History 

Twenty years ago, Wes Lutz opened the new Extreme Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Jackson, MI.  Everything about the dealership flew in the face how traditional car dealers approach selling new and used cars. 

Lutz wasn’t new to the car biz.  “When I travel, I always go to 3 or 4 dealerships to see if I’m missing something,” he said. “I would walk into stores and I hated it.  I was intimidated by the process and thought; this is what people think of me.  And I was compelled to change that.”

At Extreme, it started with attracting quality talent to implement an unexpectedly enjoyable experience for customers.  Today, compared to our industry peers, we have lower turnover and more competitive compensation.  We operate with arguably the leanest team in the industry – because our employees are experts at their jobs and given the tools they need to succeed personally and provide a great experience for customers.
